Pressure adjustment in gas tank for rotary printing machine - having tank connected to high capacity gas storage tank with pressure released from either through restriction

The method is for adjusting the pressure in a tank filled with gas which is connected to a pressure source at a higher pressure than the tank (1). The pressure in the tank is automatically measured and compared to a certain-desired value with a difference in the measured and desired values, gas is released from the source (3) which is a gas storage tank, or it is released from the tank, depending on whether the pressure is respectively higher or lower than the desired value. The gas storage has a greater capacity than the tank whose pressure must be controlled. The released gas is pref. released through and adjustable restriction.
