PURPOSE:To simplify processed contents by storing a substance existing probavility at a grid point, obtaining the intersection between a grid axis and a substance surface, and displaying the substance surface shape in a space surrounded by the grid points from the surface intersection. CONSTITUTION:A substance data processing part 1 subdivides a space 11 where the substance exists into a cubic grid-shaped condition. When the substance exists in a spatial area 12, surfaces 17 and 18 to approximate the surface shape of the substance under an optimum condition are obtained, and intersections 14a-14d between the respective grid axes are obtained. The substance existing probability of the substance surface is set at 1, and the substance existing probability is given on the grid point so that the substance existing probability may be set at 1 at the position of the intersec tion between the surface on respective axes. Next, a surface intersection arithmetic part 3 reads the substance existing probatility of the grid point of a spatial area 12c, where the substance existing probability exceeds 1 at contacting grid point, from a substance existing probatility memory part 2, and the position of the intersection between the substance on the grid axis is obtained. Finally, a substance display part 14 in the grid obtains triangles 17 and 18 from the intersection between the substance surface on the grid axis, and they are displayed on a screen 5. |
