PURPOSE:To easily align a position of cars when they are coupled, by providing a mechanism, movable in the horizontal and vertical directions with respect to a coupling bar of the trailer, to a device coupling the unmanned tractor and the trailer and also decoupling the cars easily through the control of a lever. CONSTITUTION:A coupler device 3 is rotatably set in the horizontal direction with a shaft 7 as the center by operating a retractably protruding movable pin 20 in an opposite side to a stopper pin 8, and two sheets of guide plates 10 are extended from a bearing part 9, while engaging members 11, 11' are arranged in the longitudinal direction between said guide plates 10 and rotatably fixed with respective pins 12, 12' as supporting points. When a coupling bar 14 of a trailer is intruded into an introducing part 15 of the engaging members 11, 11' against force of a tensile spring 13, a point end of the coupling bar 14 is caught in the position of an engagement part 16 and the engaging members 11, 11' are closed then the trailer is coupled to an unmanned tractor. While the front end of the engaging members 11, 11' is opened by operating a lever 17, and coupling of the trailer can be released. |
