PURPOSE:To perform a center position compensation without distorting white balance, by saving a white balance(gain) control voltage value before the automatic correction of center position and performing an automatic position of center position, and returning the saved white balance contol voltage afterwards. CONSTITUTION:When a start switch 10 for automatic compensation of center position is applied and a request signal for automatic compensation of center position is inputted to a microprocessor 7, a white balance (gain) control voltage stored in a memory 8 is saved to the other address. Further, the microprocessor 7 uses a white balance control circuit 4 and a maximum value detecting circuit 5 and automatically matches the maximum level of the video signal of each channel. After the automatic adjustment for the center position is made through the use of a detection circuit 6 for video center position shift amount and a compensation circuit 9 for video center position, the white balance control voltage saved is returned to the original storage location of the memory 8. |
