PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent synthesized picture without generating any blank by applying insertion synthesis while placing priority over a smaller area designated by a means designating an area and a picture to be supplied in applying insertion synthesis. CONSTITUTION:In fitting a color picture data from a video processor 3 to a video processing unit 12 in a color reader 1 is applied to a position designated with area by a digitizer 16. When the area designated by the digitizer 16 is larger, the small area of a color picture outputted from the processor 3 has priority and the picture is inserted only to the range and an original 999 is printed out to the outside area. When the area designated by the digitizer 16 is smaller than the effective area of the video picture, it has priority and the picture is limited to the range. In synthesizing the two pictures, no blank is produced and excellent synthesis is applied. |
