PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition useful as a perfume material in toiletry products such as cosmetic, hygienic and sanitary products or aromatic, having strongly freshing feeling, containing 4-mercapto-4-methylpentan-2-one. CONSTITUTION:A perfume composition containing 0.001-0.01wt.% based on the whole perfume composition of a compound shown by the formula, a powerful material showing extremely low threshold value, having fruitiness and green feeling of CASIS. A citrus-tone perfume or green-tone perfume is preferable as the other perfume used. Addition of the compound shown by the formula to the citrus-tone perfume imparts impact in top note, can show freshing feeling and addition to the green-based perfume increases green feeling. |
