PURPOSE:To improve the display quality without deteriorating the rate of an aperture by allowing a transparent electrode film of a high resistance provided by a low temperature processing method on the protective layer of a color filter to conduct to the transparent electrode film of a low resistance provided by a direct high temperature processing method on a glass substrate, in an interval part between the protective layers. CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrode films 22, 26 are formed on glass substrates 21, 25. On the electrode film 22, an insulating film 23 and an oriented film 24 are superposed, a color filter film 27 is formed at the interval d2 on the electrode film 26 and a protective film 28 is opened at an interval d3<d2, and a transparent electrode film 29 is formed by a low temperature processing. Therefore, the electrode film 29 becomes a comparatively high resistance, but conducts in a part of an interval d3 the transparent electrode film 26 of a low resistance provided by a direct high temperature processing method on the glass substrate, therefore, the combined resistance drops, and accordingly, the display quality is improved without deteriorating the rate of the aperture. |
