PURPOSE:To prevent magnification for photographing a panoramic object from varying every photographing by locking the zoom setting position of a lens with a lock command signal after starting photographing and completing a first automatic focus controlling action and keeping it until completing a series of panoramic photographing. CONSTITUTION:In case of setting a panoramic photographing mode, the zoom setting position of the lens is locked by a power zoom lock means in a power zoom controller 17 with the lock command signal P6 from a lock command signal generation means 15 after the focal distance of a power zoom mechanism is set and the first automatic focus controlling action is completed in an automatic focus controller 16 with a release signal P5. And the lock of the zoom setting position of the lens is kept until a series of panoramic photographing is completed by driving a motor-driven universal head 2. Thus, discontinuous photographs can be prevented from being taken because the focal distance of a photographic lens is not varied every photographing in a second photographing and after that and the magnification of photographing is not varied every time. |
