The invention relates to a sheet-conveying device in deliverers of printing machines, in which the sheet is conveyed to the delivery pile by means of gripper carriages circulating on chains, and a guide plate provided with openings is arranged for sheet guiding and a blower device with an air deflection plate is arranged on the bottom of the guide plate counter to the sheet-conveying direction. Starting from the object of building up a larger negative-pressure zone by a new arrangement of the blower box with the same blower performance, this is achieved in that the blower device designed in a known manner as a blower box is arranged with its covering with spacing below the guide plate, and in that there are provided longitudinal seals and, in the length of the blower nozzle, a transverse seal which extends over the width between the guide plate and the covering and encloses the ejector space. <IMAGE>
