The device, which forms the subject of the present invention, makes it possible to extract the fruitification of a plant whilst leaving the stems intact. It consists of a means for holding and transporting material 2, 4 and 5, of a cylindrical member driven in rotation 6, provided with roughnesses 8 located substantially in a helix, and of a static member 7, whose shape is close to that of a portion of a cylinder, provided with adjustable means 10 making it possible to give precise adjustment opposite and near the cylindrical member 8. The holding means and the cylindrical member, which are provided with separate shafts 3, 9, rotate at different speeds, which allows the roughnesses to scrape the stems. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for extracting capsules from flax, for threshing grains or for extracting the woody parts from stems. <IMAGE>
