METHOD OF LINING PIPELINE AND PASSAGE

PURPOSE: To not only maintain the absence of air in a resin absorbent layer but also prevent air from entering the resin absorbent layer by turning inside out a lining tube within a pipeline or passageway and enclosing the resin absorbent layer with an impermeable tube. CONSTITUTION: An outer surface of a felt 10 is coated with an impermeable layer 12. Plastic resin is injected in a tube 14 and then processed with a roller. Concurrently with the foregoing process, the resin is completely impregnated in the felt after air has been absorbed from the gap between fibrous layers. An edge section of lining tubes 10 and 12 are folded back and then, fixed on an edge section 20 of an elbow pipe 18. Thereafter, air or water or an combination thereof is introduced in the elbow pipe 18 as shown by an arrow 22. As a result, the tubes 10 and 12 are turned inside out along with or in the pipeline or a passageway 16.
