PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of the coil containing section of a field core, by forming the outer periphery of the field core in the shape of a polygon, and by arranging bearing pieces at specified intervals on the inner periphery of the field core formed in the same shape as that of the outer periphery, saliently, to fit bobbins on the bearing pieces. CONSTITUTION:A stator 16 consists of a flattened ring-formed field core 17, a core holder 18 for retaining the field core 17, and bobbins 19 wound up with coils. The outer periphery of the field core 17 is regular-octagon-formed, and the inner periphery is formed similarly to the outer periphery. On the inner periphery, bearing pieces 17a with the bobbins 19 fitted on every other side are saliently arranged. The bobbins 19 have drum sections 19a wound up with coils, circular sections 19c having the curved external surface of a specified curvature, and flattened grooves 19d formed penetrated through butted sections 19b to the circular sections 19c. |
