PURPOSE:To improve the development processing property of the titled material by incorporating a specified polymer and/or a dextran in the titled material, and a specified emulsion contg. a nonphotosensitive silver halide particle in a photographic emulsion layer or an another constituting layer, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the polymer contg. a repeating unit shown by formula II and/or the dextran, and the photographic emulsion layer is composed of a photosensitive silver halide emulsion comprising a silver halide particle contg. >=7mol.% silver iodide. Said photographic emulsion layer or the another constituting layer contains substantially the emulsion composed of the nonphotosensitive silver halide particle which absorbs a heterocyclic ring mercapto compd. shown by formula I and is not fogged. In the formula, X is -O-, -NH- or -S- group, R1-R4 are each hydrogen atom or alkyl or aryl group with has plural carbon atoms, etc., X1 is hydrogen atom or a positive ion capable of neutralizing a molecule. L is the total of (m) and a monovalent binding group, (n) is 0 or 1, (m) is 1 or 2. Thus, the development processing property of the titled material is improved. |
