PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of a stepping motor and to reduce noise by switching the exciting time of each exciting phase when a stepping rate is slow. CONSTITUTION:When operating in a normal stepping rate, a stepping rate detector 7 does not output an exciting time switching signal 7A. Thus, an exciting time switching circuit 8 outputs exciting signals 3A, 3B from an exciting signal generator 3 as final exciting signals 8A, 8B to a stepping motor driver 4 as they are. In case of a slow stepping rate of approx. 1/2 of normal value, the detector 7 outputs an exciting time switching signal 7A. An exciting time is switched by the switching circuit 8 to obtain a balanced exciting time. |
