PURPOSE:To improve the developing characteristic by floating up a developer containing a superconductor, by a magnetic field generating means, and forming a developed image on a latent image holding body. CONSTITUTION:Under a temperature at which a superconductor fine particle shows its superconductivity, when a magnetic field is applied to its fine particle, as for the fine particle whose particle diameter is >= about 0.1mum it flows up to a space by a Meissner effect. By utilizing this quality, a developer 3 containing a superconductor is floated up by a magnetic field generating means 2, the adsorption force of the developer 3 and its holding and carrying member 4 is relaxed, and a developed image is formed on a latent image holding body 1. In such a way, a copy whose development efficiency is satisfactory and whose image density is high is obtained. |
