<p>The present invention relates to a quiet-operating cutting disc for marble, garnet and other rocks. The aim of the invention is achieved in that depression-seat supports are provided on one or both disc sides and are filled with metal sheets which are bonded on using flexible adhesive and have a shape and dimensions corresponding to the depressions. According to another variation of the invention, the holes are first partially filled with plastic, whereupon the thin metal sheets are bonded on. According to the described construction, the diamond-carrying cutting disc for marble, garnet and other rocks has the facility to eliminate the vibrations resulting at the circumference of the disc, owing to the fact that the thin metal sheets bonded onto the depressions act as a barrier against the advance of the vibrations towards the centre of the side. <IMAGE></p> |
