PURPOSE:To improve a current density with the ununiformity of a locational superconductive characteristic of a wire material eliminated by melting an oxide system superconductive material in an oxygen enrichment, making a quenching wire material directly, and heat treating the material in an oxygen atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The material of an oxide superconductor is weighed so that, for instance, each oxide of Y2O3, BaO, and CuO is made to have a ratio of Y:Ba:Cu=1:2:3 in the mole ratio, and is melted and maintained at 1550 deg.C in a melting furnace 1 having an oxygen supply brick 2, pressurizing cover 5, and nozzle 3. During the material is melted and maintained, a pressurizing valve 6 and the nozzle 3 are closed, an oxygen supply valve 7 is opened, the oxygen in an oxygen source 8 is blown in a melt 4 from the brick 2, and a melt stirring and an oxygen enrichment are fully conducted. Then the valve 6 and the nozzle 3 are opened, the melt is injected, a wire material having the diameter of 50mum is made via a water tank 9, and the wire material is treated in a heat treatment furnace in a heat treatment furnace in an oxygen atmosphere at 850-950 deg.C to be completed. |
