<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of adjusting the length of a tie rod by enabling the length adjustment of the tie rod and the tight fastening of a lock nut to be simply carried out by a single jig. CONSTITUTION:A case 82 of a driver T extends long from the proximal end to the distal end and a reversible drive motor 83 is secured fixedly to the proximal end of case 82. In the case 82 is interposed a transmission device 90 between an output gear 86 and an operative gear 88. The case 82 is divided into two portions in the rotational axis direction of gear of a transmission device 90, and the case 82 is formed on the distal end with a notch-like first inducing path 92 reaching bearing holes 87a, 87b from the outer surface of the distal end. An operative gear 88 is formed with a second inducing path 93 reaching the center portion from the outer peripheral surface. First and second socket portions 94, 95 are formed which communicate to inducing paths 92, 93 and engage a tool engaging portion of a rod body and lock nut.</p> |
