A foldable bracelet made of rigid, sheet-like material is described, which consists of a strip (10) of a particular width with a central fold (11) which divides the strip longitudinally into two symmetrical halves (14), and which is subdivided into sections (12) of preferably equal length. Herringbone-like side folds (16) run from the ends of each of the sections (12) to the edges of the strip halves (14), the angle between the side folds (16) and the central fold (11) being between 45 and 80@. Further connecting folds (18), which are symmetrical in mirror image relative to the central fold, also run from the ends of the sections (12) to the ends of the strip halves, the angle between the central fold (11) and the connecting folds (18) being selected such that the end points of the connecting folds (18) from one end of a central-fold section (12) coincide with the end points of the side folds (16) which start from the other end of the same central-fold section (12). The central-fold sections (12) and the side folds (16) can be opened out from the plane in one direction, and the connecting folds (18) can be opened out from the plane in the opposite direction. <IMAGE>
