PURPOSE:To absorb unnecessary radio waves and completely prevent the energy storage in a magnetron and the leakage from an input section by fitting radio wave absorbers in the vacuum wall of the input section. CONSTITUTION:Radio wave absorbers 17-20 are fitted in the vacuum wall of an input section, and/or insulators 9, 10 of the input section are constituted with a radio wave absorber. As a fitting method of radio wave absorbers, when they are fitted to portions other than the vacuum wall such as a cathode support body 5, a heater support bar 4, an end hat 6, etc., for example, a means not generating gas in a vacuum tube is used such as fixing with bolts and nuts or sticking with an adhesive agent or brazing after metallization. If silicon carbide, for example, is used in place of conventional ceramics for the insulators 9, 10 of the input section and the end section is brazed after metallization as before, the harmetic seal can be available, and they serve as insulators as well as radio wave absorbers and the leakage of the radio waves from the input section can be prevented. |
