<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reaction with electronic parts as well as to obtain a lightweight firing jig by a method wherein a specific magnesia coating is provided on the surface of a molded body composed of heat-resisting inorganic fiber, fire-resisting powder and an inorganic coupling agent, and having a number of air-gaps. CONSTITUTION:After a magnesia film of 50-500mum in thickness, consisting of magnesia powder of 45mum or less in grain diameter, has been applied to the surface of a molded body consisting of heat-resisting inorganic fiber, fireproof powder, and an inorganic coupling agent and having a number of air-gaps, they are fired. As a result, they can be made light in weight, a molded body of strong structure can be obtained, and the reaction with the material to be fired such as a piezoelectric element, a thermistor, a capacitor and the like can also be prevented completely.</p> |
