PURPOSE:To improve the durability of desensitizing due to a pressure, and to reduce the deterioration of the sensitivity at the time of storing in a high humidity by incorporating a spectral sensitizing dye in the silver halide particle contd. in the silver halide emulsion, while growing said particle. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide emulsion is formed in the presence of the spectral sensitizing dye, and the spectral sensitizing dye is incorporated in the silver halide particle contd. in the silver halide emulsion, while growing said particle. The growing of the silver halide particle means the generation of a nucleus at the time of initially adding a silver ion and a halide ion and then, the growing of the formed nucleus.
