PURPOSE:To make the composing member of each toggle mechanism not interfering each other and to make a machine miniaturized and compact by providing the toggle mechanism of an upper two units and those of lower two units by changing the phase in the machine width direction in a double toggle type device having upper and lower two units of toggle mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:A moving lever 40 is under advancing, middle links 21, 31 and toggle links 23, 33 are in a linear shape and a big clamping force is given to dies 4, 5. A molten metal is cast into the cavity of the dies 4, 5 in this state and after cooling of the dies 4, 5 a die opening is performed. Namely the lever 40 is advanced and retreated in the order of b-c-d, the links 21, 31 and those 23, 23 are bent so as to make an acute angle each other via the state of making an acute angle each other to perform a die opening. In this case, due to each link 21, 23 and 31, 33 varying the phase in the machine width direction there is no interference each other. Therefore, due to the closing being made in a longer stroke by the larger sizing of the dies 4, 5 the need for increasing the height of a machine base is eliminated accordingly even if the length of the links 21, 31 is extended. |
