PURPOSE:To prevent the duplication and the forgery of data from being performed by a third party, by recording/reading angle information in a following block on a preceding prescribed block, and performing the recording/reading of the data by setting the angle of the following block in a travel direction according to the angle information. CONSTITUTION:The angle information of all the following blocks are recorded on a first leading block. Therefore, after those information being read from the first block or written on the first block, the read of data from following a second - n-th blocks or write of the data on those blocks are performed according to the angle information. The read or the write of the data for a magnetic tape 1 is performed by a mechanism 2. Read data is supplied to a controller 6 via a reader 5, and the data to be written is supplied to the mechanism 2 via the writer 5. The angle information in the read/written data is supplied from the controller 6 to the driving device 4 of an angle adjusting mechanism 3, and the read/write angle of the mechanism 2 is changed by the mechanism 3. |
