<p>PURPOSE:To produce an anti-wind noise winder for wire, by adding Mg, Si into Al then further adding Fe or Cu to produce an alloy, thereafter forming the alloy to have an approximately triangular cross-section and applying quenching and cold working thereto. CONSTITUTION:An alloy composed of 0.3-1.4wt.% of Mg, 0.3-1.4wt.% of Si, 1.0wt.% or less of Fe and/or Cu and the remainder of Al is casting rolled continuously, then it is intrusion molded to have triangular continuous cross-section through a rotary wheel type continuous intruder under the temperature of 400 deg.-570 deg.C thereafter it is cooled abruptly below 150 deg.C so as to produce an anti-wind noise winder 1 for wire. The winder 1 has recessed bottom 2 and a top portion 3 beveled in arch. The height (h) of the winder 1 is equal to or longer than 1/2 of the length L of the bottom. The winder 1 is wound spirally over a wire 4.</p> |
