<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining material having both high strength such as tensile force, compressive force and sufficient diameter expansion performance by incorporating a reinforced fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The lining material 1 in one embodiment includes a resin impregnated layer 3 impregnated with a matrix resin comprising a liquid thermosetting resin as a base resin and a coating layer 2 comprising an impermeable material. The resin impregnated layer 3 contains a plurality of sheet like reinforcing materials 321 comprising a reinforced fiber material and the reinforcing material 321 has a width shorter than the inner peripheral length of an existing pipe 4 and at least an end part in the width direction is overlapped with adjacent reinforcing material 321 to form an overlap part W.
