<p>In the path of one of the three groups of rays which come from this separator (2-3-4) and correspond to the three differently coloured images, there is disposed a glass wedge (5) which can move along an axis (X-Y) orthogonal to the axis of the rays of the group under consideration. In order to move this wedge there is provided a drive mechanism (6-7) slaved to a control system comprising an element for detecting the focal length and/or the focussing distance of the lens with which the present device is associated, as well as a programmer determining, as a function of this focal length, the size of the movement to be imparted to the glass wedge (5) in order to correct the position of the corresponding elemental image, so that the latter will be formed on the relevant analysing detector in the exact position desired in order that the final three colour images are superimposed on the screens of the television receivers.
