PURPOSE:To prevent image data from being lacked and printed by correcting automatically the size of a frame even a line feed pitch is changed when framing is executed in a sentence, the image data are written, printed. CONSTITUTION:A processor 1 prepares a document at the buffer area of a memory 3 based on the instruction and character code inputted from a keyboard 8. Based on the movement of a cursor inputted continuously to the instruction of framing, the size of an are is specified and the framing is executed by the number of lines and the number of digits. A display control circuit 6 reads the frame of the document of the memory 3 and displays it at a displaying part 7. The processor 1, when the line feed pitch change is instructed from the keyboard 8 and the framing is executed, reads a frame line number instructing program from the memory 3 and extracts the number of the lines of the frame before the line feed pitch change. From the line feed pitch ratio before and after the change, the number of the lines after the line feed pitch having the same size in the line direction is changed is calculated and the processor 1 changes the size of a frame at the memory 3.
