PURPOSE:To enhance operability by providing a print key for starting a copying operation and a print key for setting copying conditions. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 70 sets the copying conditions through an operating key. When the conditions are in a standard status, a control signal is outputted to controllers 73-79 through either of a 1st printing key 61A and a 2nd printing key 61B in order to activate the copying operation. When specific copying conditions are on a specified copying condition other than the standard condition, e.g. when the magnification is not unmagnification and in case of copying attending with edition, the key 61A alone cannot activate the operation. In that case the control signal is outputted only when the key 61B is operated after the conditions have been reset to the standard. When no copy is carried out in a prescribed time after the specific conditions have been set or after copying has been carried out once under said conditions, they are reset to the standard automatically. Thus a useless copy without being noticed by special copying condition is eliminated and economy and operability can be improved. |
