PURPOSE:To cause a drain pump to control the discharge of drain water at the most suitable position by installing an electrode type sensor detecting the water level of the drain water in carrying current through the drain water in the main body of the drain pump. CONSTITUTION:When the water level of drain water reaches an electrode type sensor 18 for control, minute current flows from an electrode 18a to an electrode 18b through the drain water and a relay 20 is operated to drive a drain pump 15 and the drain water is discharged. When the water level of the drain water reaches an electrode type sensor 19 for stopping in an emergency, minute current flows from the electrode 18a to the sensor 19 through the drain water to stop the operation of an air conditioner. Thereby, since the sensors 18 and 19 are installed at the part of the suction part 15a of the pump 15, the operation at the most suitable position peculiar to the pump 15 itself can be carried out easily.
