PURPOSE:To enable automatic measurement of a desorption peak value quickly at a high accuracy, by arranging a sample tube, a detector, an A/D converter, first-third memories and a CPU. CONSTITUTION:A flow rate measuring device 1 has a function to run a fixed amount of gas to a sample tube 2. A detector 3 detects a peak of a desorption gas to be supplied from the sample tube 2 loaded with a sample to be measured and supplies a detection output to an A/D converter 4, which converts an output of the detector 3 into digital from analog (sampling) and supplies an output thereof to a CPU 5. The CPU 5 accesses RAMs 6 and 7 and a ROM 8 to gener ate a broken line graph according to the magnitude of a conversion output of the A/D converter 4 and a desorption peak value is measured by a specified formula according to a diode function. The results of measurement are shown on an output display device 9.
