A door lock (1) with mechanical actuation for a motor vehicle, consisting of a fork (7) suitable for being brought into engagement by a fixed stop (14), a detente device (8) suitable for blocking the fork (7) on the stop (14), an opening lever (36) in cooperation with the detente device (8), an inner operating lever (66) and an outer operating lever (44) which are suitable for actuating the opening lever (36), and a pair of safety levers (24, 54) which cooperate and which are suitable for preventing an actuation of the detente device (8) via the opening lever (36); the door lock (1) consists, furthermore, of a microswitch (77) for indicating incomplete locking, which is controlled directly by the fork (7) and which performs the function of releasing the security by acting on the inner operating lever (66) and, furthermore, the function of preventing the security from being cut in, insofar as the door lock is not completely locked, and actuation from outside over the idle travel with the security cut in, with only five levers being used, with the result that particularly low values are obtained for weight, space requirement and costs. <IMAGE>
