PURPOSE:To expand the setting using scope of a call path by setting a multi-call path to preserve the number of delaying frames to a time slot theretofore from the exchanging node of a front end or a path in which the number of the delaying frames of all time slots is 0, in respective exchanging nodes. CONSTITUTION:The selection of the channel path to preserve the sequence of a time slot in the same frame and between frames is defined respectively to be selection 1 and selection 2. To respective time slots, the number of delaying frames up to the own exchanging node is informed to a rear end node, the node, when it is 0, sets the path by the selection 1, when it cannot be executed, the selection 2 is allowed, when the number of delaying frames of all time slots of the multi-call is not 0, the selection 2 is used as much as possible, sets the call path to as to be 0, and when it cannot be executed, sets the path by the selection 1. For this reason, the selectivity of the path in respective nodes is improved. Even when the selection 1 cannot be selected and the selection 2 is selected, functioning is loaded in the direction to preserve a time slot sequence in the same frame with the node after the node, and therefore, the sequence is not damaged as a communication system as a whole.
