<p>PURPOSE:To vacuum mold an air-permeable skin without the process of stopping air-permeation, and manufacture the same easily in a mass production by vacuum molding without lowering the characteristics of the soft material skin by backing only, the area around the rear surface of a recessed surface of the soft material skin with a shape retaining resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:An air-permeable soft material skin 12 is placed on a molding die 16 having a corresponding mold face 14 so that the skin surface side is faced thereto. A bonding agent 18 is applied on the back surface of the soft material skin 12. A shape retaining resin sheet 20 constituted of thermoplastic resin such as ABS resin, vinyl chloride or the like is piled up on the soft material skin 12 on the molding die 16., The shape retaining sheet 20 is formed in a form almost equal to the section for the recessed surface molding, and placed on the section for the recessed surface molding of the soft material skin after being heated and softened prelimiarily. Since shield is insufficient and vacuum pressure is does not work effectively in the vacuum molding in a state that the shape retaining resin sheet 20 is piled up with a part of the air-permeable soft material skin 12 to cover the soft material skin partly, a shield sheet 22 is applied over the shape retaining resin sheet 20 and the soft material skin 12.</p> |
