<p>A blood heating apparatus, comprising a box (1) provided with a hinged door (4) with pins (14) for suspending thereon a plastics pouch (15) having a labyrinth-shaped passage communicating with flexible inlet and outlet tubes (19a, 19b), said box (1) and door (4) being provided with temperature-controlled electrical heating means (10) to be contacted with both sides of said pouch (15) and with passages (20) for the tubes of said pouch; according to the invention said door (4) is hinged at its lower side on a horizontal hinge axis (3), and is provided with said suspension pins (14), the inlet and outlet tubes (19a, 19b) of said pouch (15) communicating with said pouch (15) symmetrically at two opposite sides and mutually aligned, the passages (20) for said tubes (19) in the box and door walls being situated in the vicinity of the hinge axis (3) of said door (4).</p> |
