PURPOSE:To prevent mis-copying by changing over a copying operation to a one-sheet feed mode of originals and executing the copying operation with a copying device body when the length in the conveying direction of a 1st sheet of an original is larger than half the length of the entire exposing region. CONSTITUTION:This copying device is provided with an automatic original conveyor 100 which selects the two-sheets feed mode of the originals, photosensors SE2, SE3, SE5 which are the means for detecting the sizes of the originals, and a control means (2nd CPU) 202 which changes over the copying operation to the one-sheet feed mode and executes the copying operation with the copying device body when the length in the conveying direction of the 1st sheet of the original detected by the photosensors SE2, SE3, SE5 is larger than half the length of the entire exposing region. The original of the size with which an image cut or void arises in two-sheets feeding is automatically copied in the one sheet mode only. The mis-copying is thus surely prevented. |
