<p>The invention relates to a polymer having the structure <CHEM> and mixtures thereof wherein R is a perhalogenated aromatic or cyclo aliphatic radical containing from 6 to 7 carbon atoms in the cyclic structure; R<1> is hydroxy or C1 to C10 alkoxy; R<2> is hydrogen or C1 to C10 alkyl; EO represents the radical -CH2CH2O-; PO represents the radical <CHEM> m is an integer having a value of from 6 to 20; and x, y, z, x min , y min and z min each represent an integer having a value of from 0 to 50 with the proviso that sums of x + y + z and of x min + y min + z min are greater than 5. The application is also directed to the preparation and use of the above polymer, e.g. for soil release or flame retardancy.</p> |
