Biodegradable detergents and cleaners and their use

Cleaners with a broad spectrum of action are obtained from 0.5 to 6 parts of a sequestrant, 2 to 35 parts of a fatty alcohol polyglycol ether, 5 to 35 parts of an alkanolamine and 0.5 to 5 parts of another non-ionic surfactant. The aqueous concentrates of these mixtures are preferably 15 to 30% strength. The compositions are used, where appropriate after dilution with water, for cleaning soiled articles, equipment, buildings, road surfaces and the like and in industrial and hospital laundry and finally in ultrasonic cleaning.
