PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness of the titled material by using a specified polymer coupler for the titled material, and by incorporating a nonphotosensitive silver halide emulsion or a silver halide emulsion with its inner side or the surface of a particle fogged in a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:The polymer coupler contg. at least one kind of a repeating unit shown by formula I is incorporated in at least one layer of photosensitive silver halide emulsion layers. And, at least one layer of an auxiliary layer is mounted on the place at more far distance from a supporting body than said emulsion layer which is positioned at the most far distance from the supporting body. At least one layer of the auxiliary layer contains the substantially nonphotosensitive silver halide emulsion, or the silver halide emulsion with its inner part or the surface of the particle fogged, and at least one layer of the auxiliary layer contains a colloidal silver. Thus, the sharpness of the titled material without injuring the film strength and the processing stability, is improved. |
