PURPOSE:To always obtain the copy of a picture with a uniform quality, without necessitating an original picture at the time of a copying after second time by converting the original picture into digital picture information and store it, at the same time that the original picture is copied, and retrieving it and restoring it into analog picture information, and outputting it, when the copying comes necessary again. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converting part 2 converts the analog picture information which is the output of a picture inputting part 1, into the digital picture information, and makes a picture memory 3 store it temporarily. When an operator instructs an additional copy request, a picture retrieving part 6 refers to a picture storage part 4, and reads out successively the stored digital picture information, and displays it on a bit map display in the picture retrieving part 6 as the form of plural contracted pictures. When the operator selects the picture, the operator wants to copy, among these contracted pictures, the picture retrieving part 6 makes the picture memory 3 store temporarily the digital picture information, corresponding to the desired picture. Next, a D/A converting part 7 restores the above-mentioned digital picture information into the analog picture information, and transmits it to a picture outputting part 8. |
