PURPOSE:To obtain a vertical magnetized recording medium in a simple and inexpensive way, by using a face-centered cubic Co-Cr film. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of substrate is set at >=200 deg.C and preferably at 400 deg.C, and the sputtering process is applied for a target of Co-Cr. Thus a vertical magnetized recording medium is obtained with a magnetization facilitating axis of a face-centered cubic crystal oriented vertically to the medium face. |
