PURPOSE:To obtain the titled paste having low spontaneous combustibility and high safety in which a carbon residue is not remained at the time of baking in brazing and high quality of thick film can be formed, by incorporating silver oxide or silver peroxide into the paste. CONSTITUTION:The silver oxide or silver peroxide is incorporated into the silver or silver alloy paste, by which the paste in which the carbon residue is not remaining at the time of printing the paste on a substrate and baking it is obtd. For the total weight, 0.1-50wt.% silver oxide or silver peroxide is appropriately incorporated into the titled paste.
