All the contacts are accessible from one side of the plinth for jacking in breaking units to the break contacts or for their connection to the fixed contacts, and connection of wires to the wear contacts. The lower part of the plinth comprises a box-shaped part with compartments (16) for the contacts. The upper part is partially engageable with the lower part so that its downwardly projecting edge extends outside of and parallel to the lower part side surfaces (3,4). The downwardly projecting edge of the upper part extends in close connection with the lower surface of the lower part, and the wire position-fixing components are fitted on the upper part in close connection to the free end of the downwardly projecting edge. The side surfaces (3,4) of the lower part have ribs or fillets (10) spaced apart on their top edges, and which work in conjunction with the upper part downwardly projecting edge. The upper and lower parts are held together by snap engagement components (13) comprising flaps or convolutions (13) on the lower part, and corresp. recesses in the upper part. |
