This is a power-outlet socket of the type including, between a rear plate 14 at which the contact cavities emerge, on the one hand, and a front disc 16 which includes passage openings 17 facing the said contact cavities, on the other hand, a retractable closure member 20. According to the invention, the rear plate 14 forms a shroud which is, at least in part, sealed and the front disc 16 includes, on its periphery, substantially along the radius opposite the opening 17' for passage of the earth pin, an indentation 32 suitable for draining to the outside any liquid penetrating via one of its passage openings 17.
