PURPOSE:To obtain a display plate with the large discharge current, large brightness, and no breakdown by changing the thickness of the dielectric film and protective film on two substrates: front and back. CONSTITUTION:The thickness d1 of the dielectric film 7 on one insulating substrate 5 and the thickness d2 of the dielectric film 3 on the other insulating substrate 1 are set to d1>d2, the dielectric film 7 with the thickness d1 is covered with a protective film 8 made of an alkaline earth metal oxide with the thickness e1, the dielectric film 3 with the thickness d2 is covered with a protective film 4 made of an alkaline earth metal oxide with the thickness e2, and the thicknesses e1, e2 are set to e1<e2. A display plate with the large discharge current, large brightness, and no breakdown can be obtained accordingly. |
