METHOD FOR STOPPING SPINNING FRAME

PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of end breakage in the lowering of a ring rail after the top-bunch winding in the stopping of a spinning frame, by lowering the ring rail in a manner so as to decrease the difference between the rotational speed of a spindle and the transfer speed of a traveler. CONSTITUTION:In the stopping of a spinning frame for doffing, a ring rail is lifted to the top of a bobbin to form a bunch winding and then the ring rail is lowered to form a bunch winding at the lower part of the bobbin or a spindle. In the above process, the lowering of the ring rail is carried out is a manner so as to decrease the difference between the rotational speed of the spindle and the transfer speed of the traveler when the ring rail passes through a zone having large pirn diameter. It can be performed e.g. by switching the operation of the driving motor of the spindle from 2-pole driving to 4-pole driving, thereby lowering the rotational speed of the spindle.
