In the case of wheels, especially in the case of toothed wheels having herringbone teeth, which are divided in the disc at right angles to the axis and are assembled from two such parts, in order to damp the emission of air-conducted or structural noise there is provided on the two mutually facing surfaces of the wheel parts in each case one recess (1, 2), of identical shape, having an essentially rectangular cross-section, on the walls of which recess there are forced a viscous-elastic damping layer (3, 4) and a covering plate (5, 6). <IMAGE> |
