PURPOSE:To lighten the load of a user for a selection decision, and besides, to effectively utilize a storage area, and to offer an information receiving device, which responds quickly to the user by selecting, storing and preserving automatically a necessary information among the received information, by using the attribute of a the reception information. CONSTITUTION:A reception information buffer 1 is a buffer to store the reception information, and the reception information is stored once here. An attribute buffer 2 is the buffer to store the attribute of the reception information, and the attribute, given to the reception information, is stored here once as well. When the reception information and its attribute are stored, a selecting means 4 performs a selection in respect of whether the said reception information is necessary for a receiving side or not. The selection is performed on the basis of the attribute, as referring to a condition table 3. In the condition table 3, a condition expression group about the attribute is stored beforehand. According to the selection of the selecting means 4, only the necessary information among the received reception information is given to a secondary storage device 6 by a storing means 5, and stored.
