PURPOSE:To obtain a diaphragm for speaker which is not deformed or does not cause divisional oscillation during oscillation and has a high-band resonance frequency, by using a formed material, where pulp is impregnated with urushiol as a phenol derivative, as the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Kraft pulp haying 25g/m<2> coating and 28mm caliber is impregnated with urushiol as a phenol derivative and is hardened by heating to form a domic diaphragm having 30g/m<2> coating. Since pulp is impregnated with urushiol of a phenol derivative, this formed diaphragm has a very high modulus of elasticity and the flexural rigidity of the diaphragm is very increased, and deformation of the diaphragm and divisional resonance during oscillation are prevented to obtain a satisfactory acoustic characteristic.
