A device for crushing or mincing garlic or other things has an open topped receptacle (4) formed with sides and a perforated bottom (6). A plunger (3) fits within but is removable from the receptacle (4) to allow garlic to be placed within it. A forcing means is provided to enable the plunger (3) to be forced toward the bottom of the receptacle (4) thereby crushing the garlic. Rotating means (2) enables the plunger (3) to be rotated to assist in breaking up the garlic. The preferred embodiment has two pivotally-attached elongated members with handles (9, 13) one supporting the receptable (4) and the other a forcing member (1) to which the plunger (3) is rotatably attached. …<??>Such a device disintegrates garlic and extracts juice with less applied force. |
